WHAT NO IPOD?

I thought the synth was a boombox.

in the future, we will get music from Super Mario Bros. Mystery Blocks.

the laptop should be an ipod or similar-- it looks strange just suspended in space like that. invisible table! i also thought the synth was a boombox...

I think it's better without an iPod, since it's not really an instrument. Okay, the laptop isn't really an instrument either, but it has softwares for creating music.

def need an ipod, this is about playing music not making it really.

and no mystery box, it's dumb.

Have the last one wearing industrial ear protectors. That's teh trendy thing right now. If not basking in roomtone it's blocking out everyone else's sounds and music.

just for the record, Darwin was a killer euphonium player. Him and Alfred Russel Wallace would jam in the Royal Zoological Society basement. Wallace would beat box and play the theremin and together they would carve Victorian England a new earhole.

I don't like the pause, rewind, and fast forward. The rest is cute though.

I didn't think it was a synth either.. It kind of looked like a "boom box-cassette" hybrid. *headdesk* Sorry.

But I like the guitar. It stands out most.

I like also how you've got the heart for the music, all the way. Though to me, it's like we've stopped playing the music halfway down the track and just begun to advance (technologically) in the forms of how we listen to it.

The mystery box is a "psch". It would be nice to hear a prediction from the designer. :)

Nice design in general.

There is another music evolution design submitted to discogs. Pretty much went LP-Casette-CD-mp3 depicted above th evolving human. It was actually suggested that the evolving men carry the formats like yours do. IN a way, yhis is better executed. I like the past-present-future being represented by the rewind-pause-ff but the wave line is a bit busy. The instruments are hard to recognise though.

I for some strange reason also want to see the brain and heart shrinking, but that could be me just being randomly bitter this afternoon.
