I don't really like the placement, but the design is cool. Maybe if you moved it over toward the center a bit.

hmm...i didn't realize that it was a beard until i saw the scissors, because it reads more like a neck from afar...yet i don't really like the scissors. so i'm in a dilemma. still cool, though.

hmmmm....i think I would like it better if the beard was to make him look like an old deer. So with color, the beard would be grey, as would the top of his head. I need color. Do something to make his eyes look old as well. Old and wise perhaps?
