man walked on the moon in 1969, over 38 years ago. they could play guitars on there if they wanted to a long time ago, not really futuristic. i deduce the cave man is banging the rocks to make music as music making is what the others are doing, but its not very obvious. why is the rapper's mic connected to a yellow backpack on the astronaut?

The figures should show more movement and a greater visual suggestion of music being played.

the concept of music being performed through the ages is a good one, but the execution is letting a good idea down.

Love the idea, but i'd like to see this with better execution. First, you probably want to connect all three images, since you connected the present and future so well. Second, i'd love to see all there "musicians" doing a version of the same thing, like playing drums, or the harp etc instead of three scattered musical events. Thirdly, like yawfosu already said, the astronaut as futuristic is actually a retro-futuristic take on what the future is. I think maybe the rapper in the astronaut suit might make it a bit more futuristic, and i appreciate you didn't go the robot route, but i think a re-sub before the end of the contest would do this design well.
