The "Realisim" of the hand and pencil really are at odds with the design, I understand that they are supposed to be drawing the clouds, but I think this shirt would be awesome without the hand and pencil.

igo2cairo on Jan 03 '08 Wow, nice illustration and beautiful details! The only thing I'm not sure about is the cityscape on the bottom... it's a bit distracting and I think the design would be stronger without it. $5 without the cityscape.

the cityscape would look too disconnected at the bottom, but it's necessary to the concept, as is the hand. So 5$ for you cuz it's awesome as is, don't listen to those who say otherwise ;)

hmm, i think the reason the placement is awkward may be the city. I think the diagnol presentation on the chest looks pretty good, no? Maybe a little higher?

igo2cairo on Jan 05 '08 Actually, ths city is really cool - I love the placement you have in the main picture because it looks more cohesive and doesn't draw your eye away from the wonderful cloud shapes. So let me re-phrase that - definitely a $5 for the bigger version! PRINT!!!

clouds look best closer to the skyline. Otherwise, you end up with a blotchy stripe along the bottom of the shirt that is separated visually from the bulk of your design work. P.S. I see the big dipper :)

nice illustration, i prefer the colour on the big picture as the shirt colour, the blue on the model fits less for me

I agree about the blue, but it was the closest in the templates. Maybe a lighter blue if printed. Thanks

That's gorgeous. I think a slightly darker blue than in the magnified illustration would look stunning (reminiscent of a night or twilight sky) but not as dark as on the model (the illustration gets drowned out by the color).

I really like that skyline. Honestly, have that, with the moon, plane, blimp, stars, and I would love it (yes, i know that completely defeats the focus of the shirt)
