i love it! the album cover is the four beatles crossing abbey road, and here are four beatles (the cars) crossing a road in similar fashion...

i think i might actually like it better if the cars were done more like the background, maybe bolder somehow, and slightly different from eachother. right now they look so photoshopped.
you may also have some copyright issues |

FRICKINAWESOME on Jan 04 '08 Funny concept, but the execution could use some work, have the cars in different styles of beetle (paint colors matching each beetle's personality in the order they were on the cover) and take the boxy feel away from what you have right now. Also, the design shouldn't be in my abdomen. With a really decent re-do, this would be worth submitting again. Good luck!

if you can, the beatles crossing the road would be SOOO much funnier if you drew them walking (think Tex Avery style, if you are a fan of old cartoons.) across the street on their rear tires.
and of course paul could be walking on his rims... |

I would agree this still needs a lot of work... the idea is absolutely brilliant, don't get me wrong... but the artwork... sorry, it's downright boring. Use the proper colours, the rims idea, and perhaps the cars in the background ought to be people too... then you've got a winner.

its a really good idea, but not executed well enough. definitely use different colors and work on the drawing. also, maybe bugs (as in beetles) would work better?

I love this album, and I dig the reference. You should maybe try a a little more color in the background though, it looks a little odd as it is.

I'm really diggin' this design idea, though I feel it could have been executed better.
Like Frickenawesome said, the cars should be of a little diffrent style and the colors should be similar to those of the personalities.... Lovemyshirts' idea with having the cars on their back tires would also be rad if executed properly (and Paul were on his rims).... Add a little more color, raise the design higher on the chest, and resubmit. I would definately like an improved version of this shirt to have a place in my closet. :] |

umm the background i like but, i don't know what it is. i don't care for the four cars in the front. it's just wierd.

I think this idea is great, I love it, but I think it needs some work. The beetles could be altered from one another a little more so they look more like the Beatles they are representing, in terms of color and style. I like what someone said about no tires!
