i _really_ don't mean to be a jerk, but that's boring.
it basically looks like five minutes with adobe illustrator. don't get me wrong: i like the motif, but it needs a lot more effort. you could have utilized the three colours to do some nice shading and stuff for an instance. try harder next time. cintrao: i agree with you, but you really need to flesh out your critique. "nah!" is useless. |

bortwein on Nov 02 '03 Thanks for the critic, I was worried it was going to come off to some as boring. It's just a simple water glass drawing. Yes it's a simple illustration but the concept was meant to be more thought provoking. I guess I missed my mark. I've learned a lot about my shirt designs since starting this process. Thanks for the advice.

My favourite artist is Patrick Caulfield - you probably know him already - but this is exactly his style and I LOVE IT! I would have bought this design, fer shure!
