As far as I knew, the only reason anybody buys t-shirts is because they're fashionabkle in some fashion(pun darn-well intended).

All these years and I thought I was buying shirts to look good...

even if what the shirt said was true, it still doesn't mean that designing shitty t-shirts should be acceptable.

good type design involves decent, deliberate kerning.

Shirts about design always come across as pretentious to me.

so is the shirt not design-based? or not fashionable? i feel like the design is almost self-defeating in this form. if you played on the idea of t-shirt design more, rather than throwing a slogan on the front it would be really cool.

You guys are missing the point. Someone can be a good designer, and never make a t shirt once in their life. Similarly one can be a shitty designer and make something people like. People who are buying these t shirts honestly, generally have no judgement of good design.

For example, EVERY submission that is just random stuff drawn together into one big amalgamation of... things.
That isn't good design.

However sometimes there are things on here that're wonderful from a design standpoint, and they lose.

And just about everyone commenting is acting like the person is insulting threadless or tshirt submissions somehow. The world will never learn.

I'm scoring this shirt a 1. Tour only saving grace for getting a 1 is due to my affinity for hot pink. Overall the design is trite. It lacks that punch, the wow-factor. It's preachy. The kerning is off. The drips are copied & pasted. It's even positioned off center on the shirt. I'm scoring heatherc19 a 0 because she's a teenager who thinks she invented graphic design.

i submit this t-shirt under threadless revolution because i want to shock with this setence, and I DID IT! but doesn´t mean that design couldn´t be designing t-shirts... i put the pink t-shirt with drips to be contraditory.... and about the copy paste that mezo have wroght i tell you that was done with a plugin for photoshop... u are a design god... about the position, im sorry, everyone make´s mistakes.

for those who doesn´t no.... design is about making something that as a function, and the appearence come´s next to the function... but this submission is just an irony....... i like fashionable t-shirts.
