A friend is going through a very painful breakup at the moment and it somewhat inspired me to design a t-shirt.

Their partner of 4 years cheated on them recently which resulted in them breaking up.It's not their only "slip-up"...so my friend just got fed up with it.They wish they'd realized how things really were sooner.

So the t-shirt is for everyone that has a habit of worshiping their partners only to painfully realize much later ( i.e years laters) that it was all in their head and they would've been better off without them.I would include myself in that category as well :)

For all the times when you were thinking out of your heart instead of your head....

yeah... I feel your friend; I went out with my bf of 2 years before he decided he couldn't handle our semi-long distance relationship.

i really like it. I like the font you used for the word "thinking" too, I got excited cause I thought it was on the shirt, but I realize that if you tried to put text on the shirt, you'll just get lots of comments saying "lose the text" and "i don't like the text" so, yeah...$5

i kinda wish the brain-heart looked a little more hand drawn like the text instead of like a photo that went through a xerox machine. wonderful concept though and i love the dotted lines and text.

i saw a similar design submitted around a year ago... but i like the idea.

I like the brain in a heart shape. Have that centered on the tee an im sold.

I'm for the brain/heart over the heart on the left side, like the cliched shirts all have.

yes...breakups are usually cheesy, dramatic, pathetic and all things worse although the t-shirt is intended to be more sarcastic than anything else.

i like this. I think it would still be awesome without the text. and just the Heart/brain

The image is great, but lose the text.

The heart brain thing pretty much delivers the whole message in itself. Get rid of the text I'm thinking.

if it's just the heart/brain, with the text gone, it'll be kinda plain.

yeah...that's why i put in the text in the first place...but dunno...some people seem to prefer it without the text

I like the text. I think the fact that all of the thoughts are mixed up and the lines to them are tangled only backs up what you're trying to say with the image.
