Very nice. I like that his body is the shirt ground and thus defined by the absence of ink; it makes him sort of ghostlike. Def. kill the text and the distressing.

Maybe too colorful for a blue shirt. If you use a lighter color, something more neutral, it would be better. Heather gray, perhaps?
