ah damn. brilliant concept, seriously good, but i've got some complants. one, i think the sign saying subway is a bit overkill. it makes the whole thing obnoxiously obvious, like "look! i'm a pun on a tshirt!" maybe it would be cool if you had the name of a station or something? my next gripe is that a ot of the llustration looks choppy, especially around man with briefcase and sandwich filling. i'd love to see this cleaned up and re-subbed, but for now its a 3.

This is fantastic, and the no food/drink sign on the other side of the station is the special seasoning on top of a hoagie.

thanks everyone for your insightful comments. the reason i didnt put this up for critique first was because it's really hard to get attention from critique now... based on past experiences, so i decided to submit it.

Yeah you could put a really fat guy, or maybe he's getting on a station called "Fat" and you have the network map or something and he's going to like "I'm playing basketball. Maybe I'll take up rock climbing" station. And he can do it all, cos he takes the subway twice a day.

Fix the people. They seem really flat and the guy's nose is really big. Also, I'd like to see some value on the sandwich if possible. It's a really sweet idea, it just needs a bit of work.

Nice concept..clever idea.. but maybe you can play with the concept and resubmit something more clean...more suitable for a shirt; this looks like a cartoon for the New Yorker...

i agree way back up with casualtynumber1, though you could keep the subway sign, just don't make it so forward. also, i love the no eating or drinking sign, but you could maybe put it in a more noticable spot, or in words or something, right now it just gets lost in the picture, and there's no point in it.
