I've seen thees sold on fairgrounds all over Europe throughout the 80's while touring solo and with my band.
They also had tees with bow tie, normal tie and their big brother the most tasteless of them all, the tuxedo printed on.
The tuxedo one is the one I saw last, but it is not many years since I saw this design flogged on the streets of Oslo. 90's some time.
So the idea is maybe not copied, but also not very original.

I love it at first I looked at it and I was like... blehhhh
then I realized the suede ink and the metallics and the texture and I was like that is AMAZING!

But I can get real suspenders for like 50c at the thrift store.

the first thing i thought of was skin heads with red suspenders...which are crappy people to say the least. I dig the ones that aren't red, though.
