I absolutely love...except I don't understand the radial lines...are they there strictly to create a 3d aspect to the 'donut'...? i dunno, it's awesome either way...your smoke cloud is flawless...

FRICKINAWESOME on Dec 24 '07 French car = croissant I believe embryo. I wouldn't have gotten it either until Kolby mentioned it's a french car and i put the title and the pic together! Which isn't good for us stupid Americans and french pastries. lol. Maybe something on the car's top that denotes it is a french car? The flag or something? Or maybe it's ok that most people think it's a doughnut because it's a really impressive drawing perspective and detail-wise.

oops, car geek thing... 2CVs were front wheel drive. The citroen Traction Avant was the first production car to have a frontwheel drive system and then the 2CV got it. nice design tho. sorry to nit-pick.

this design is a direct "lift" or hopefully an "homage" to the great artist maholy nagy of the bauhaus. Down to the exact car and donut skid-marks. It was a photo taken out the the 3rd story window of the school in the 1930's. almost every history of graphic design text has this photo in it.
yes it WAS very clever and amazing, in the 1930's. I really hope the designer of this shirt credits the design from where it came from, and not pass it off as an original design. |

love the concept, but my first thought was donut, make the ends of the crousaint a little farther apart/pronounced, and I would give this a 5$

If we're going to accuse an artist of plagiarism, we should probably spell his name correctly. Here is the link to the Laszlo Moholy-Nagy website.
Just to be sure, I looked him up in my copy of Graphic Design, A New History (Stephen J. Eskilson, 2007, Yale University Press). There was no picture that resembled this design. Just wanted to clear that up. Great design. 5 for me. Maybe add a $ for my boyfriend. |

It's not impossible... just highly unlikely this will print after so long. Glennz's shirt "Strays" printed after over 700 days which is crazy. It's too bad; I really, really wanted this shirt. I would've bought 2 copies.
