this started out as a doodle and then a painting and now a shirt! the top hat and little suit are recent additions to my floating boy. above is my finished design and my 3 favorite shirt colors.

I like the dark and sky blues the best I think the design it's self would look best in one of the upper corners like he was about to float off the shirt :)

I don't like the suit. It's too much, and if this does get printed, the light blues don't work well for a background.

Sorry, but this went from a $5 to an... ehhh for me.

its a cool idea, and i like it in the two darker colours as well.

If i was gonna wear it, but i'd like him drawn a bit simpler, but thats just my personal preferances, obviously..

Tim Burton sketch meets... Don Hertzfelts "Billy's Balloon", least that's what it reminds me of. neat!
I'd have thought that a lighter background would work better with a dark suit... at least that's what I'd go with for contrast.

Well I love it.
on the midtone blue.
and i agree, not enough people check out the critiques...if you are too lazy it is a bit more difficult than scoring designs. you can't just keep going like you do when you are scoring, you have to go back and forth to get to new critiques after looking at one.
hopefull they will fix the friendly factor on the critiques and more traffic will come that way.

ANYHOW, rant over, once again--I love this! $5

i tried it on tan and grey but it really didn't work. sorry but my favorite is the middle blue. the dark one is growing on me tho

this is a great design but i think the background color should be darker, or less bright. something like a silver or grey or something more dreary. this is messed up little dude floating around and it looks strange to have him in a bright cheery baby blue sky. putting the irony aside, blue doesn't work for me. awesome design!
