ginetteginette on Dec 17 '07 i think this is a really sweet and cute illustration. i really like the characters but i also very dislike all the copy paste hearts. if you had done those with the same aesthetic as your lovable characters this would be a much better design overall.

Its cute, not my style but i think it looks good. The hearts dont really seem to fit with the style of the monster/monkey. Maybe draw those in also to add some imperfections/artistic flair to those. They look like clip art.

About my design
Okay, a bit about the design: the adorable, fuzzy teal creature on the left is a Sock Monster and he has found his one true love; a sock monkey.
As far as shirt color, I'm not sure what i like best, but I'm partial to the sand or on yellow. The hearts in the background were supposed to be half-tones but with my very,very basic skills on photoshop I didn't know how...
so whaddya think? (:
