Oh, wow. This makes me think of "Stranger than Fiction," and how the main character always had all those white lines around him with numbers, calculating everything he did...

This is REALLY cool. I'd so wear this.

awesome, but I think it'd be awesomer if you put something in about the marshmallow being heated, and aren't there usually two pieces of chocolate? Still $5

two pieces of chocolate, I thought there was usually 4 pieces? Anyways great illustration, and I really like how you used the scientific white lines. $5

Toasted marshmallow (or a flammable symbol point to it), another piece of chococlate, maybe some more "blue-printy" ideas and this is a 5$. As is, i'd still buy it since i love things making fun of those stupid blow-out designs. 4$

nice nerd take on yummy smores. can you make the marshmellow toasted?
mitchelhunt
mitchelhunt on Dec 16 '07
HAHA this is so gonna make it. Although when you eventually win, I suggest you make the chocolate a bit thicker.
fatheed
   fatheed on Dec 16 '07
Why is there measurements showing the distance between each element? Nice execution, ut smores are obviously an American thing. Looks delicious!

this looks awesome, its just what i was thinking of when I suggested to add the lines!

best of luck!

man, thanks for the great comments everyone. 2 notes, the design started out with the chocolate below the marshmallow but I really like the shadow that it makes on the graham cracker so I swapped them. I would like to make it toasted but I'm out of colors, maybe I can play with the shades of brown a bit. Thanks a bunch folks.

   Kookaberry on Dec 16 '07
So when fully assembled this thing should be over 8 inches tall? I'm confused. And yeah, s'mores are apparently pretty much an American phenomenon so you can tell the limeys on this thread pretty easily. =)

it could've been more technical with info on toasting the marshmellow and the degree of burn.
hockeygator
hockeygator on Dec 16 '07
Awesome design. Maybe you could take the gray out of the marshmallow and use a different brown to give the marshmallow dimension and the burnt look. And instead of the height of the entire smore (8.55" seems rather tall), you could make that number the pressure (psi) it takes to press the smore together, and then add a line pointing to the burnt marshmallow with the degree of heat it takes to brown it. Also, I don't think you need the height from the bottom of the marshmallow to the top of the chocolate.

I love Smores! I like the design, but maybe I would change the color of the shirt, I think it would look good on a darker color.

the 8.55" and 3.20" really need to go... could leave the dotted lines there for fill, though. Would like to see the diameter of the marshmallow, but that's getting pretty picky. Remove the 8.55" and 3.20" text and it's a $5.

I originally created the illustration almost a year ago, the old version of it has been used (with and without my permission) in several places since. Only recently when someone mentioned that it would make a cool t-shirt did I tweak it and submit it here.
