Immersion
Static and uncolored is boring. There's a whole spectrum of exciting things you could be doing; pick one and run with it.
His name tag says "Roy." I made a funny.

I like this! i think Chest placement would be better.
But it would be more interesting if the colored shadows had different poses. it looks like you just rotated them incrementally.

also, his full name is Roy G. Biv, right?

Yeah, Roy G. Biv. I'm glad someone got it :)
I debated chest placement. I like it better where it is, but only marginally. Placement is completely negotiable.

I think this has potential....however, the execution of the coloured "shadows" is lacking for me.

It's off to a great start and I love the Roy name tag and the position of the design on the shirt. I also like the rough line work but I do agree that the shows could be more unique and better placed.

I love the shadows doing a cartwheel. It makes me happy. I would definitely wear it!

It's really a shame...you guys are right about my shadows, I think. While I was drawing it, I debated between different poses and what you see, and in hindsight I'd go with the former. Oh well. Sucks that that modification would be shot down for re-submission...wasn't there something about them accepting an updated version if they took it for print? One can dream.

I like it. :) And indigo is too a color :P lol it's my favorite color. Just because magenta isn't in the rainbow doesn't make it not a real color, for example. I think it's silly that they wanted to take indigo out of the rainbow.

good concept but i think it could have used some more work before a final submission.

Oh, sure, you start out thinking indigo is a color. Then someone asks, "Fine. draw a line somewhere between blue and purple and tell me that one side isn't blue, and the other isn't purple." It can't be done. Indigo is, at most, one infinitely small unit's width of range in the blue-purple sea.

indigo is indigo like orange is orange - it's a blend.

I could pick a color and tell you "That's orange."
Pick a color and tell me it's indigo. I'll tell you, no, it's:
A) Blue, or
B) Violet.
Thanks for the comments, though. I thrive on them.

i thought he had a paint brush in his hand at first. i think it made it seem like he had drawn the shadows himself, which made sense why they look kind of not-neat. i liked it that way. lol . its still a really cool design, but it needs a little bit of work. :o)
