I really hope the community likes this design. It's been a long time coming, I joined threadless just to get this design going and critiqued... I know it's not perfect but I think it's almost as good as it's going to get, barring some little mistake I haven't noticed

If you can't tell, the light on the face is composed of tiny little faces... I was thinking puff ink on the lines (outside of the faces) would be an interesting look and feel. I'm not sure about the color. I wanted it to be pleasing to look at but complex under the surface. Hopefully you guys will find some meaning in it and like it.

Thanks.

cool idea. i'm not sure if it is supposed to look like theres a hand grabbing the face from the bottom but thats the feeling i get. Maybe try and get the white coming across the face lookign like more natural lines (forming a chin, lips, a rounder cheek). looks good though

Thanks BigGesus, I'll keep that in mind :)

Also, I didn't know there was already a shirt with the title "Who I Am" on threadless! I just saw it yesterday, after already submitting this a couple of days ago. I would certainly change the name if this were ever selected, and am up for suggestions in that area!

Thanks for scoring and looking...

its cool, I don't think you needed all the white border lines, where there are white faces, as they make the shape you have drawn in with the white lines.

Hmm. I see what you're saying, noponies, but I'm having trouble deciding which lines I would take out/leave in. For instance, the eye on the left looks bizarre without the lines. And with so few of the lines taken out, the ones I could find that really are already implied, it looks awkward to me not having them there.
I think the raised-up puff ink might fix the redundancy of those lines. What do you think about that?
