I'd really love this if the "doodle" motif covered the whole shirt.

The figure + heart subtract from the awesomeness, I think.

I feel like the shape is awkwardly situated right there in the middle of the shirt. There is so much movement in the small figure but the shape that she (he?) is swinging from is really clunky.

the pattern that is now the baground could be the whole shirt, its tight

you didn't consider how this would look on a shirt at all. try drawing something you mean to end up on a shirt, don't just slap a doodle on there.

I love the pattern, and I love the figure, but not in that position. What about moving it up, so that the pattern is across the shoulders?

Gingette is known for being suave, eh? Boxiness is a big issue in the blogs. It really works for some designs, in my opinion. This is a situation, however, where I think it detracts from your graphic. I'd rework it and resubmit. People clearly seem to dig your design, so I think it's worth adding onto.
