Good point. Guys, I don´t know if this will indeed work on fabric, but the illusion is based on color placement AND distance, so maybe there´s potential. |

I've seen illusions of this nature printed on paper, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on a shirt. Though body curves may mess with it. It's pretty cool anyway though. Plus I love limes :) 5

I know al lot of people have said this, but I do wonder if it works on a shirt...though I imagine it would provided the person wearing it is not moving. -.^ Print this and I WILL BUY IT!!! This is one of the most original ideas I've seen. However, can there only be two lemons for the illusion to work? It lookes a little sparse...
Would it work better on a darker color or a light?....personally I would not suggest that it not be printed on white because you need the highlights on the lemons/limes/cocolimes(!?!?! ) in order for the illusion to work. (I'm sure that you, as the artist know that though....you are the master of the illusion!! mwoohahahahahaha!!) |

Yeah, as soon as i looked at this i realized how much i hate this hurting my eyes, but how much i love the effect! also thought about this probably not working on something that isn't a monitor. But if it DOES work which it probably will to a smaller extent (and maybe figure out a way to design it to work on a fabric even more), it DEF has printage potential. I really like the cute spin you took on this one.

This is an interesting concept, but to be honest the illusion I doubt will work as you want on a shirt. The placement of each shape has to be exact, but a shirt is wrinkled. Not only that, but it also moves, so no illusion is seen. (I've had experience with this, so please don't think I'm just trying to be mean!)

Two things - firstly doesn't this need the gradiant colours in the background to make it work? So at the very least would it have to be printed as a big square on the shirt? Secondly - if it did work on a shirt would it only work if you where directly in front of it? Cos' I'd feel a bit awkward if I had to kneel down in front of people just to see the illusion. :S

Sorry but I'm nearly sure that it will not work on a shirt.
As another commenter said: the spacing has to be very exact, and if the image is moving already because there's someone in the shirt, the effect disappears. I hope I'm wrong.... |
