Its definitely a cool concept, Id wear as is.
but just for crit sake- the shoulders and arms seem out of perspective compared to the legs |

kind of looks like he has to pee. real bad like. anyway, i like the concept (although not sure that really comes across) and the drawing is super-wearable. good stuff.

Why are his feet cut off? He needs those, first of all. And the helmet reflection needs more detail to get this concept across.
Personally, I'd lose the flag and the Capitol building to make it a more universal design. Maybe make the image on his helmet a mushroom cloud, or some other apocolyptic image. |

without the title, the interpretation is much more muddled. maybe add a bit more to it to make your idea come across. and finish the legs.

w/o your explaination, it looks like just an astronaut that dropped his/her flag - "capitol building" is not obvious. maybe make it a mushroom bomb?

it looks like the shoulders and legs were drawn from two different points of view. still looks cool though. i would lose the flag and go with the mushroom cloud too.

Yeah - the mushroom cloud would seem to make this easier to "analyze" by someone who just happened to glimpse at it. Otherwise, you would just miss the best part of the design. Without it, it just sort of looks like MTV's moon man award.

the idea is awesome!but cleaner lines and placement that didn't make the legs fade out would have been nice.

thank you all, the shoulder and leg porportion thing is forshorting like someone said, and i kinda wanted the mystery of the idea, murshroom clouds have been done alot before...

it's a great start. you could drive the idea home with perhaps, having the astronaut look at a monitor or some television type device, in his shuttle, of the capital building or something very american, and create the same sorrowful reaction.

I agree with simastrick. I didn't recognise the building so I didn't get the message. I like spacemen usually though.
