the only problem i see is the monster with the googly eyes, the white and brown monster in back of him get completely lost. it's bad placement. otherwise, i realllyy like it.

The pictures are juvenile, and get real--who walks around folding their shirt? 5 for having a thought process, 1 for execution. I just don't like the art style, but the idea has possibilities.

the folding thing was done long ago by shortys....not that it cant be done again, but this idea coupled with the fact that submissions showing creatures much like these are extremely frequent....the creativity isn't there as much as the ability to put out what the public wants. If that wins you a printing, congratulations. I do like the style, but I wish it wasn't so common.

Probably the best execution yet for a fold-in T, but the idea is getting old real fast. It's too impractical to lift your shirt up every time someone asks you to explain it. And with a shirt as cryptic as that, I'm guessing you'd have to explain it a lot. Sorry, but I think fold-ins should stay in the back of magazines.

Bramish on Dec 05 '07 Although not my style, it's a pleasant enough design with excellent colour usage... I think the gimmicky folding thing is completely unnecessary and I'm guessing a lot of the high scores came from that. I'd be interested to see how it would have fared as a standard design.
I reckon it would have scored around 2.5 without it, which is still a great score. Congrats. |
