I think it might be a bit funnier without the two trees. Maybe, instead of having the lumberjack cutting down a tree AND being cut down, just have him being cut down. That to me seemed to make it a bit busy. Get rid of the faces, and this is one awesome shirt. :D

I love the faces on the trees and don't like the lumberjack so much. The little orange arrows showing that they are falling over are funny. I love how the little tree has a chainsaw and the lumberjack only an ax.
