some of its great, some of it lacks...the waves for instance are amazing...the half nipple...not so much...the peg leg...odd...the ship is great...i just don't know how to feel about this... 4

mezo on Nov 28 '07 The wave coming from her hot pants looks so nice! And I like the contrast in coloring of the bold main figure and the softer background. I do think you need to work on the woman's figure, she feels heavy and mannish, and not curvy and soft like women are. Also, her hair strokes look messy, and her leg doesn't look right with the peg, it needs a smoother transition. And her foot looks way outta proprotion. But good shading, lines, layout, and overall idea! 3

Her leg ain't the only thing that's made of wood right now! I'm talking about an erection, by the way. Duh.
I agree with Mezo she could use a bit of girly curves work on her arms, but besides that, the parrot and the background go so well with this design that it rises well above the "it's a pinup girlie on a tee" shirts. |

I don't think she looks mannish at all... I think you did a really good job of drawing her, and I love the peg leg and all that. As a girl, I wouldn't wear this, whether the nipple was showing or not. But very good execution.

Good job, I like the way the ship stands out but is still sudtle in the background. way to go, and the peg leg, hmm, I dunno, Im not against it or for it, but I would buy it. $5, and no, I wont comment on the nipple, its just a nipple people, comeon, everyones got on,

i miss a sword, or well, at least a dagger, on her tights... don't you?
i love the colour... reminds me of rum... so good sensation. weird idea, but maybe interesting: why not colouring the parrot? blue, green and red or yellow would be enough... thus, the contrast with the monochromity of the rest of the design would make it cooler... what do you think about it? nice job! #4 ! |
