So it's agreed: we're not sure, and are wondering where the colour is...
I kind of thought, "bats, night, batman logo, blah, stuff," so went for the blackness and contrasting yellow outline, but realistic kinda thing. Visibility in the dark and that. |

Seeing as people at least seem to dig the idea, I might rejig it and submit a second version. Re-arrange the bats a little, add a bit more detail... Keeping it as a vaguely realistic sketch, just 'fuller'...?

the frame of the mobile and the strings seem too simple. I think of old Atari computer games. Bats are cool though. Go echolocation.

At first glance, I see neon blobs with sticks. Perhaps make it a little more clear?

i love this shirt it just needs some refinement. the lines are thin and look like they were drawn in ms paint.
