I would like to see the text on the shirt. That line is great! why not use it?! This shirt is real close to being a 5 in my book.. if only that awesome tag line was there to tie it together.

Well without the text, the shirt is just nesting dolls.
With the text, it's not subtle enough. It's thrusting the joke upon you. I like sophiesandwich's idea. Good first submission, next time use the critiques though. :) |

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think everyone got caught up in the title which was really just a title. The design was supposed to be just an interpretation of nesting dolls, which I think are really neat. I really love a flat graphic aproach to illustration and this is how I drew the dolls which lend themselves perfectly to this style with their symetric shaping and decorative details.
Anyway, thanks again for the remarks and I'll keep them in mind as I continue to submit. =) |

I personally LOVE the text, I feel bad that it seems to be drawing more attention than the design, but it is what caught my eye.

The icon of the dolls should be use in a different and no usual way in order to create an impact on people... check the link "todie" suggested it's a good reference of I am trying to say... keep up the good work! you have clean colors and execution ...

Love the dolls, wouls like a different color palette thats warmer.
