I like it, but it looks a little like the Live Journal logo.

i had never seen that logo before... this was inspired by my trusty blue drawing pencils... i made it a #2 because i thought that would be more universal... more people probably know that versus a 2B or 6B (my favs)

i think that if you're trying to capture the artist market, which going with the big "art" on there i take it you are, so i think you SHOULD go with 9b or 4h or hb or something else more identifiable with artists.

If it was changed from #4 to something along the lines of 6B, 2H etc I would buy it

I agree about the artist market preferring something like 2H or whatever. Also, I'm not so sure how I feel about "Art" on the pencil. It's sort of like a picture of a guitar with "Rock" printed on it, if you know what I mean.

i don't like this, i feel like it's too big and it resembles one of those decorative notepads. but you're on to something.

a #2 seems more like a requirement for drafting. |
