About my design

by Majofo
This image originally came from a sketch I did for a school project. I liked it so much I decided to use it for something else. On one side is the skull which represents death and on the rest of the image is flowers to represent life.

This is a great 1st draft. I love the potential in this sketch. I would love to see more colors, if only on the life side. I like death, that part is appropriately stark.

I think the idea has a lot of potential. I agree that some color in the flowers might be cool but I'd have to see it...

One thing I would definitely like to see improved is the skull. It looks like you didn't put a ton of effort into it, particularly the mouth area.

I think it's a good idea though, and that's harder to come by than good execution, in my opinion

This is already awesome, but it would be even cooler if you tried to make it resemble a yin-yang symbol a little more...

Thanks for all the comments so far. I am gonna use them to make my next design even stronger.

About the Yin-Yang..I am not sure about that, the Yin Yang is a really cliche image.

ok, actualy i like the layout, i would like to see you play arround with shadeing with the new clear inks, that way it is suddle and intricate but it wont loose the clear distinct large look. props babe.

I say throw out a color palette for the shirt color. Great sketch and concept. I'd buy it

Thanks for the comment, yeah this is my first time submitting alot. I am learning alot for what I should do next time. Making it so the shirt is in more then one color is a good idea! I'll do that for my next one!

As much as I like it, I wish there was more color. I think a turquoise, pink, yellow, green, or red would look nice. Or silver, like the metallic ink they have would look nifty on the skull.

I agree with more color, but the ying-yang idea is a little too much.

It took me a second to get it, but I like that...maybe the whole thing a little smaller/more delicate?

i really dig the design, but i think it would look better either smaller (and kept centered) or wrapped around the side of the shirt. lovely concept though!
