Hey guys - this is my first sub. :)

Haiku are Japanese and traditionally 5-7-5. I have always been a fan of them. They can be read as a simple scene in time or a cave that you can only see a little way into but echoes on forever. Indigoboo's haiku above is an excellent example, so I'll respond:

a coffee enso
an expression of movement
the void, full circle

Kudos theangeli! :) I would like this a bit more if the flock didn't look so much alike. The one with the down wings is repeated quite a lot. The colors are lovely.

I wanted to use the same two birds (with one being the primary) because of the pattern effect of flocks. When there are enough, they register as many of the same as opposed to individual pieces. I understand the notion that they should all be different. Repetition in Illustrator is too simple and overdone. My intention was to have a very small pattern, however, not to find the easy way out. I don't know how to best communicate this visually....I'm over analyzing, aren't I?

I like those colors on the light blue shirt a lot. It would be sweet if it was printed bigger also so the birds wrapped over and around the shoulder, if that makes sense. Nice one!
