I think it's too simple. When you do simplistic vector stuff like this it needs to compensate in concept or craft. For example, the rain could be thinner, more rain-like than just diagonal stripes. It could be bouncing off the umbrella, there could be more emotion in the poses.

I dunno.. it's simple but I kinda like it. Maybe make it bigger and on a color shirt and somehow make the bottom edge not so round and more blended.

I think it's a cool design. It's really hard to make things this simple that work IMO.

i really like it, especially the umbrella. i disagree with thejosher's comment about making it bigger. i personally prefer shirts where the image is in one place, rather than the whole front of the shirt, so i say the current size is good. a colored shirt would be more appealing i think.

I don't feel like the rain "lines" need to be thinner; I am concerned about the overall shape of the design because it reminds me of a bitten cookie. :P I really do like the image and narrative quite a bit though!

Maybe if the outer edges kinda faded into the shirt it would make the design less harsh.

I like the simplicity of this and the stark colors, but the overall shape keeps reminding me of a police shield. Or I'll second the bites-out-of-a-cookie comment above. Maybe a full circle?

ginetteginette on Nov 22 '07 I couldn't tell the first character was meant to be a woman until it was pointed out to me. With the way you've done the background you risk losing a lot of detail in your characters. If you were to fill up some of those white diagonal shapes with different coloured strips, the characters shapes/personalities would stand out more.
