I like it, but somehow the overly happy faces of the trees really scare me. I'd like it more if they actually had speaking/whispering expressions rather than crazed =D!!!

I like the girl but the expressions on the trees and the focal point created by the sky seem strange to me.

FRICKINAWESOME on Nov 17 '07 Really sweet reality within reality concept. Very alice in wonderland-ish. I also like who everything is placed so nicely within the tee. I think i might just have to 4$ this flight of fancy.

I would keep the bushes, and I quite enjoy the sky between the branches. That's the my favorite part. I didn't see the Pan's Labyrinth reference until after studying it for a bit though, hehe. :P
The girl's hair gets lost in the trunk of the tree, which is probably my only concern with this composition. |

i really like this design, and i think it has a very 'alice in wonderland/original winnie the pooh' feel to it.
but i didn't really like the smudgy things in the background (bushes? i wasn't too sure what they were). also, i think maybe the sky-through-the-trees (which was a lovely touch) doesn't work with the green background. i don't know, it just made it look a bit fake to me. oh and (i really do like this though) i thought the girl could have been made to look more like the trees. |

i really like this design! i'd definitely buy it! the only thing i would change would be some more detail in the areas behind the trees. not a lot, but maybe a little line work to lightly define what's in the background (forest? shadows?)
