this is honest abe if you can't make any "cents" out of it. the graphic is made with a collection of pennies with the goal of having them be actual size.

oh nice. please turn the pennies around a little bit so not everyone has the exact same angle

this is pretty cool but it would be good if some were showing tails, for example, or at a different angle.

What winkinthecity said. Also would be cool if they were more copper colored, with some of them a little more worn than others. Love the idea though!

And some pennies have wonderful designs on the tail's side; would love to see some of those.

nice concept. id take it back to the drawing board and beef up the detail a bit.



add a tail side... ridges on edges... discoloring on some of the pennies...

maybe add in an "intruder" (a dime)

I think you are right about threadless not printing this. I did not know that there already was a lincoln money shirt. I guess I did not research it enough. Yours is really cool. I think I might buy it!

I am not going to put ridges on the coin since they do not have them. I am not going to add more detail. I am not going blemishes on them. I am not going to put an intruder in there. I am not going to have any flipped. I might have them in copper ink? I might rotate some of them.



reasons:

I did not want an exact depiction of a penny. I like the heads up because they are lucky and because they have lincoln's mug on them. If I wanted these to look exactly like a penny I would have just used a pic. I was trying to concentrate on a pattern. I was not trying to be completely literal.

Abe Lincoln is not the American hero that everyone thinks he is. George Washington might have had slaves, but atleast he wasn't a competative dog fighter. Infact, Abe Lincoln's dog fighting ring made Micheal Vick's look small. He had more rape stands than he had shots fired at him. This is all true, if you don't believe me, look it up on Wikipedia.

Clever, but don't care for the colour. Almost any colour would be better.
