Am I the only person who thinks that the boy sort of looks like a girl? The trunk slightly resembles a skirt... otherwise it's nicely drawn

i looked at the image first, and thought it was a girl, until i looked at the title. maybe just turn it into a girl. its hard to make a fat tree trunk look like pants. good job. i like it

I looked at the version on your blog, and I have to say that I like this version better. The ultra-swirly border doesn't work with that cute, simple smile you've got on the cloud (?...anyways, the blue part). I also like the brown rain cloud more than the faucet giving the wood-boy water, and I really like the little arms that the star has in this picture!
The only thing is the woodboy's face - or rather, how his face is hidden behind the fluffy part of the "cloud"... I dunno... something seems a bit off there... |

I quite like the androgyny of this character. The title won't be seen if it makes it to print anyway. I'm kinda sick of seeing the boy=blue/aggressive/monster type, and girl=pink/sexy/cutsie look on 99% of designs that are out there (not just threadless).
