ditch the text and let it be a bit subtle. The hearts make it clear it is a lovebird. otherwise, very cool

I really like the look of the text (hand lettering?), but the design on the shirt would look better without it. 4 for now -- $5 without the text.

Thank you all! :)
And yep it's hand lettering.. I really looove hand lettering hehe But I promise some textless tees in the future for the ones who dislike it..! Oh Oh I know, I'm so nice, right? ;) |

i would SO buy this! i really hope it gets printed, *cross fingers* and i really love it how it is. red/black contrasts beautifully.
|
|
ohh, you text haters ;)
I don't think writing 'lovebird' is necessary for comprehension either, I just like the contrast of the illustration and the letters a lot |
|
i love the simplicity of this and the placement is awesome. i really like the text as well. i think the font adds a uniqueness to the whole image. i dont think it'd be the same without it.

Had to google Tim Marrs now ofcourse! Nice drawings :) (I'm not to fond of his screenprinted (or maybe it's made digital) stuff though) I didn't know him yet so thanks for the tip.

this is really really cute. i love the way the text looks, but i don't think that it's quite necessary. really awesome design!

Hello Livejournal friend! :) I'm so glad you finally submitted... you are going to be printed in no time :)

Usually not a big fan of birds but really like this one. It's clean & simple, with a funky text. Nice work!

I'm generally not a fan of text, but I actually like this a lot. And I don't usually like these mushy cute sort of things either, but you've made it work, to the point that I'd actually wear this. $4

Did you base the birdie on a wren? If so, it might look better with its tail in the air...
Otherwise: LUFF. |
Plus: little birds are just cute.
Works best on a natural or white shirt.
