red/Dave, the image is strong, well drawn, personally I find the inevitable death/inevitable evil rather trite & confused, that's easily fixed. Using heavy-metal imagery, I'm not sure you should go accusing others of being derivative! I assume they taught you at design school that the term is not necessarily a derogatory one. We both know it's a mistake to believe that all that is appropriated is weak because it is 'unoriginal'. I suspect Andy Warhol, Shepard Fairey and hundreds more derative shmucks would agree.
