I'm not too fond of the colors on this or the sketchiness, but i love the concept! Also, i think the bubble might be a tad better if it just showed the man throwing a tone and no whale tail in the pic because we clearly see the result!

It's really nice and well done but I don't think the bubble is clear enough about what happened for enough people to get it without the title/comment.

surely you're routing for this adage to be a false one. If the man who threw the stone brings success to your t-shirt then it's anything but bad luck for you sir! Hilarious, but perhaps the whale needs a little red (purple) bump on his head to show where the stone hit?
