I thought this design was more about stealing people's souls, but any way this is interpreted one interp shines through: that of this being really really really awesome to look at. the interplay between photo and photo taker is simply outrageous.

I just looked it up on iTunes, and it's by some band called The Last Goodnight. If the title was prompted by the song by The Cure, that's a different story. (But I doubt it.)

v&v - cool design! :) At first I thought it was really cool and a bit weird, and then I read the backstory and decided it was even cooler :) I've never heard that superstition before!

Sometimes designs here rely on their titles for meaning, which I think is a weakness in a design. This design doesn't do that - it's a standalone design that would rock even if were untitled.

I don't understand why the title would affect someone else's scoring of the design to such a degree, or why which song it's named after should really affect the scoring. Mostly though, I don't understand why someone would doubt the designer's explanation of how they came up with the title.

Who cares, anyway? It's a cool design. Score it on that. :)
