I really like this, but I agree that the wallpaper should fade out into the shirt - it might help if the shirt color were closer to that of the wallpaper. A little reworking and I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

The mirror seems off cause its got that wallpaper print on it and it looks like a window almost with wallpaper outside of it.

there's a quote on Mystery Science Theatre 3000, that makes fun of a 50's short with the line "Mom's dress matches the wallpaper!" hysterical, made me think of that!

some people said if the patter had different textures or tones to it, i agree, and maybe bigger its a bit tight

I love the idea, but I do think the wallpaper should be both a different design and cleaned up on the bottom.

i think the messy wallpaper makes the design look better, because then it's not so...bland and rectangular. who wants a rectangle on their shirt?

I honestly had never heard of Garden State and personally I think Zack Braff is annoying so even if I had seen previews for it, I probably wouldn't have gone to see it. And I drew this in Illustrator, not paint.
