The only problem I see is this shirt would be considered offensive in the UK.

Most definately. It looks as if the back of her hands are facing us, which in the UK (and a good lot of the world) use like american's use their middle finger.
I'd consider wearing a shirt that had the back of the hand facing other people but not in this case because it appears to be entirely unintentional. However, i do very much like the drawing, the colors and placement. Maybe just fix those hands eh? |

I don't have a problem with the hands, they're certainly more subtle than using the words they may or may not represent. It indicates an attitude of the model not a message to the person viewing the shirt, or even the feelings of the wearer. I like it a lot, especially the detail of the dress, shows a nice curvy figure. $5. |

Is the backwards peace when it's turned horizontal still offensive? Because that's straight GANGSTA in the US. But you can't be facing the front of the hand out when you do it, that's like cutesy Japanese "peace" for photographs. Seriously, TOTALLY different.
This chick's totally hot. I like it in the sample up there on black or white... more subtle. |
