About my design

This is my second sub about the extinction of the dinosaurs. This one illustrates the idea that Asteroids killed the dinosaurs, I guess they were too busy playing the game that they forgot to eat and eventually all died.

I can't believe this doesn't immediately remind people of the game asteroids, and then seeing the dinosaur shapes they make the connection with the theory that dinosaurs were all killed off by an asteroid.
Should I add a talking piece of fruit that explains what it means?

Or was it a meteor that struck the earth? There is a difference, right?

Here you go: "Asteroids and comets are both classified as near-Earth objects. Asteroids are made of rock or metal and are thought to have been created in the warmer inner solar system. Comets are composed of ice, rock, and organic (carbon-based) compounds, and are believed to have formed in the cold outer solar sytem. Scientists believe both are "...ancient remnants of the earliest years of the formation of our solar system more than four billion years ago.

When asteroids collide, meteroids, smaller rocky bodies, often result. Meteroids are also formed when a comet passes near the sun, and the heat releases dust particles from the comet's icy tail. When a meteroid or asteroid enters the Earth's atmosphere, it ignites, creating a visible streak of light called a meteor. If the object doesn't vaporize completely and crashes into the Earth, it's called a meteorite. "

A meteor occurs when an asteroid or meteoroid enters the atmosphere. If it survives long enough to hit the earth, then it's a meteorite, but that's all just terminology for people to memorize so they can sound intelligent. So I guess it started out as an asteroid, became a meteor and eventually a meteorite, but it doesn't really matter.
It's not like some idiot is going to see the shirt and say, "Hey fucker, you know it was a meteorite that killed the dinosaurs, not a asteroid, right?"

I think a lot of people who vote here aren't old enough to have played the original arcade version of Asteroids. I am, I did, and I think this is great.

i instantly thought asteroids when i saw this. But i guess that means im ancient history. Dang. Anywho, i think the best way to illustrate this would be to have a few Asteroid ship at the top of the shirt shooting at asteroids, but many making their way down the shirt and about to clobber the videogame-looking dinos all standing at the bottom of the tee, blissfully unaware at what is going on above them! You can even throw in a missile command reference too with a few of those command posts sprinkled in the distance or to the left and right of the dinos at the bottom of the tee, shooting up missiles and splitting a few of the asteroids, but not enough. I like the idea a lot, keep working on it and good luck!
