 This is first in my new series on Threadless Themes. Also, I wanted to draw a zombie octopus climbing out of the ocean at night.

The heart inscribed with a +5 is a little confusing, care to explain it?

This is cute but a octopus has a musculoskeletal system . . . it has no bones!

typically octopuses aren't zombies either... i think the bone is a nice touch. interesting design

octopi are already pretty scary even when they are alive. i think it would be more effective if you made a zombie version of a cute sea creature. zombie Flipper!

Thanks for the comments. The +5 is a reference to when people put a $5 or 5 in the design box. A lot of people draw hearts in the sand with their initials in them. I understand how it's not a super clear reference.

Ya, it's part of the Threadless theme I'm going for. But I'm willing to resub later without it. It sounds like the consensus is the +5 isn't working. That's cool, thanks for the comments.

I think this is awesome. The +5 adds a subtle Threadless humour, that only someone who uses this site would understand, and that makes it great.
A $5 would work too, because that's what I gave you! |

Yeah, 4, but a five without the '+5' - I really like the idea & the design, but I wouldn't buy it with the '+5' on.

Looks like a spider. Octopuses have eight tentacles. And the biologists don't call them starfish anymore because fish have bones and starfish don't. :) They are sea stars like freedom fries.

FRICKINAWESOME on Oct 30 '07 It looks more like a beat-up giant tarantula. You might need to work on the zombie aspect some more, possibly with the top part of the octopi's head off and the two front tentacles put more in a "sleep walk" kinda pose.

The bone is cool.
The moon seems a bit dominant, i want to look at the rest of the picture but the moon distracts me, but I do like the light reflection on the water... |
