I really wish I liked this design more, cause I love Bowie! Can't really put my finger on what it is...I think it's the head in the helmet. It looks a little detached.

Not to be super picky, but you should remove the Navy looking rank on his shoulder. The star does indicate officer, but the chevron stripes are enlisted... cute design otherwise.
