i really like it. the illustration is done well, and the colors work, but their waists seem really out of proportion. Also, I see a lot of pink and white ink on black shirts these days. Maybe play with some alternate color schemes. overall tho, its a really strong design

thanks to everyone who likes it! and i'm sorry to those who don't. i mainly just thought it was funny, kinda tongue-in-cheek, but i understand why people would be grossed out by it too.



as for the way i draw, i'm sorry to those who don't like it. i have a kind of stylized, cartoony style; i'm not trying to represent the female form 100% accurately. i just have more fun drawing girls with hips as opposed to drawing super skinny girls (not that there's anything wrong with skinny girls; just a personal preference). as for their eyes, i haven't actually drawn anything in anime/manga style since i was in high school. i'm kinda surprised people are saying they hate them for being "anime"...if anything, i thought they might be too "disney-esque." i realize my drawing style isn't to everyone's liking, so if it isn't your cup of tea, i apologize, but i also don't plan on changing it. there is a wide and wonderful variety of styles of art on the internet and here on threadless, and i think it's wonderful that not everyone is the same.



sorry if i offended anyone. i don't really think cannibalism is cute or sexy or whatever. i just thought the juxtoposition of cannibalism with cute cartoony girls would be sort of shocking and humorous. i value the experience and your feedback, good or bad or neutral, and hope it helps to make me better as an artist! :)

You really don't need to be apologetic. I've seen a few really good illustrations get negative comments because they look too 'anime' , it's just not a 'fashionable' style on this site.

i dig the shirt, probably 'cause i dig thick girls, but even to me, it seemed a little mis-proportioned, but i understand you're goin' for a style and i'd still wear this in a heartbeat, other than that i love the theme...maybe try some other color schemes, just for the sake of finding whatever works.

Reguardless of like or dislike as far as style and design is concerned, your Illustraitor talents are obvious.



I think the design would be stronger without the text; let the subtlty of the design speak for itself witout stating the obvious. Plus, it could be more fun for us, the viewer to guess/ decide what they are eating, where it is going, and whether or not they are cute/ sexy doing it.
