I'd go for the cupcake. For some reason, having the baseball there just makes me think that the boy should have a bat near him and a face like he just threw the ball up, hit it, and it barely bounced into a weird little cavern nearby. However, he is so excited and cupcakes are very exciting.

The bike just makes little sense to me.

angler fish is a good idea... only problem is apparently another person did an angler fish distracting a boy with a cupcake and so angler fishes are off limits for life
