Cool... but without the shirt part. It's too distracting. Try getting rid of the dark detail lines of the synthesizer, too- just the whites and the blacks, no other detail but the keys. Keep it simple. Then this shirt would be killer rad. As the street kids put it.

I think without the shirt I would not have gotten the FoS reference. I think it is perfect as is.

Without the 'shirt' part of the design, you lose all the fun!
It'd just be a pretty little shirt with a lovely illustration of a keyboard and the power of music to transform hands into wee birdies...but with the added power of ZOMGFLOCKOFSEAGULLSRAD! we have pure unadulterated awesome. :D Besides, this is way better than the Michael Jackson shirt. And that one got printed. Go FoS! |

Unfortunately Threadless is mostly viewed by people who were born after the 80's and will not get the brilliant message in this Tee. Just looking at the image I hear the tune! It is right on!

It definitely needs the shirt top or else it doesn't make nearly as much sense. Since we can't all walk around with Flock of Seagull hairdos (well, technically we can... but do we want to?), why not accentuate another silly part of the band's persona?
With the shirt top, it's funny. Without it, it's just some weird statement about hands, seagulls, and music. $5. As is. |
