Arright, there were some bugs when I uploaded this, therefore it seems that my comments have been deleted. For those of you who um... don't get it, this is a play on cogito ergo sum, instead using the latin name for the humble chicken. As to the design itself, do you think there ought to be brackets or no brackets for the o?

i would leave the brackets out. the effect then is more subtile and... i don't know how to put in words... "cooler" and exclusive for the ones who know where it derives from.

Keep in mind that you've got no less than 3 word puns simultaneously overlapping, so the odds that someone will intuitively 'get it' are slim. This puts your shirt into a very narrow niche audience.

The design by itself is cool 'though. You should drop the text.

one more semantic: the Latin name should read "Gallus gallus". The genus is always capitalized, species always lowercase. like Homo sapiens, or Tyrannosaurus rex.

the typography could use a complete overhaul. it's not as fun as the illustration...plus in the photo it looks jaggy on the preview picture.
