quister on Oct 11 '07 Love the illustration. Very stylistic/idiosyncratic. I also like the idea of TOKER replacing JOKER as a gotcha kind of graphic. I would recommend cutting the figure at the waist, and then reproducing a reverse version of the torso and head below as if it were a real playing card. If you're going to do a twist on a playing card you need to start with the viewer's experience of what a playing card looks like and then revitalize the cliche with your novel way of looking at it.

Jokers on cards are usually a full figure, not two half versions together like jacks, queens and kings.

maybe a border around it to clearly define it as a card (although I know everyone hates borders) rather than having it on a plain white tee?
that way you could have the white defined a la playing card, but open the tee up to more colours....? |
