i like it alot, but i don't think the huge halftones are doing anything for the illustration. they're distracting. i think it would be better off without them. it kind of reminds me of star trek 4 (the greatest film in the history of mankind).

quister on Oct 11 '07 A great twist to the cliche "save the whales". Good concept beautifully designed. I would make it a bit smaller on the shirt so that viewers could see the concept and not a random white on blue pattern thing. I'd buy it if I didn't have to hold the bottom of the shirt out so people could see it. Good thinking, good design, bad placement.

Concept is dead-on. And the way I see it, concept always trumps the art. Sure the halftones are a tad on the big side. But that's a quick fix. The art delivers the message loud and clear. That's enough to win a 5 spot from me. Hope it goes to print. Good Job.
