Please don't strain yourselves trying to interpret the design. It is intended to make you think, but not necessarily about something of my intention.

well it does exactly what you intend it to do, and the atmosphere is great. It's also really great on the tee. I would absolutely wear this!!!

He's a detective changed by a glowing lobster claw into a one-armed, one-tentacled hybrid monstrosity. She's a mosquito. They fight crime!

It reminds me of the Smoking man from X-Files. But over-all it just seems like there's too much going on.

Even if this did make any sense, I'd like to see it without the mosquito... I think that's the one thing that's throwing it off for me.

like the sqid arm, but the box frame puts me off

most people seem to like simple things that make instant sense to them. i'm not one of those people.



this is very cool, but i gotta say i'd like it much better if there were no box, if you lost that shape in the upper right hand corner of the box and if the smoke from the smoke were more thin n' wispy.



still, giving it a high score 'cause it's so damn cool.

I like it with the box, but I'd lose the mosquito. It makes it cluttered. But keep the rest!

i really like this design - i'd say keep the box, i like it. i'll restate the request for more whispy smoke - it looks real fake up there now, almost stringy. and as much as i like the minimalism, i feel like there should be a little more variation in the colors. i'm not talking about anything major, just one or two additional shades of gray might help.



actually, i almost feel like something crazy should be happening on that tentacle. but that might ruin the whole composition. another potentially composition-ruining idea would be to color almost all of the design gray, keeping the black and red, of course. the beam of light, though would remain pure white. again, i don't know if that would emphasize the beam or kill the whole thing. i'm no expert.



all in all, i like it - it makes sufficiently little sense to be the sort of idea that i would buy. i like the composition a lot, but there's a few things that don't quite work for me. i feel like this post is very critical - and it might seem that way, but i wouldn't have written this much if i didn't love the design.
