Great idea, though I think it looses the fact that it's a mario mushroom... just not well illustrated (The mushroom i mean)

Love the design. I don't know about bottom placement, but you could give it a shot. Also, I don't know about the gray shirt.

Keep mario mushroom where he is and lengthen the rainbow so that it ends nearer the bottom of the shirt.
