Yeah, and you should have thrown in some gameboy buses or something.

solid idea...but without your explanation I wouldn't recognize any of the consoles except the PS2...the circles on the lids of the sega and ps1 look off...as does the perspective of the ps3

I really like the idea, but MDepot is right about the reccognisability. Work on it a little more.

i normally rate all video game shirts a zero...but i'm begrudgingly giving this a 1 because it actually made me smile. kudos.

good idea, but execution & perspective could be better

how can the perspective be better?

vinnylo, i give all videogame based shirts on threadless a bad rating because there way too many of them and i don't want this site to turn into a one stop shop for all your childhood nostalgia (there are plenty of those places already). threadless shirts work the best when artists approach the tshirt more as an art medium and actually express some unique, creative visuals rather than rehash our favorite brands and commercials. that said, your design still makes me laugh.

The proportions are way off.
I like the idea, but I agree with MDepot.

360s don't look like that...
And I really had no idea what the idea was until I read your second comment. Maybe less stuff that isn't actually on the machines (windows, fire escape, etc.) . The little people make it clear that they're giant buildings. The windows just distract the eye.
vinnylo
vinnylo on Oct 02 '07
i know. guys got to understand the windows and stuff are supposed to make them buildings not like exact replicas of the games consoles. 360's do too lookl ike that. how else do they look?

copy and paste. too busy. everyone is right about the windows being distracting. also... it's "inappropriate". personally, I would have used the consoles in a more realistic manner, it would have been cool to see the old versus new product designs. otherwise, good concept. don't submit if you're just going to get defensive every time someone makes a comment.

the perspective is wrong. the diagonals are are parallel and don't stay true to the vanishing point. the colors are poor too...
